With a lifelong passion for volleyball, I began playing in grade 6 in Penticton, BC. My competitive journey includes winning BC Provincials in grade 10 and AAA Provincials in grade 12 as a setter. I went on to play two years at Briercrest College in ACAC and served as team captain during my year at UBC Okanagan. For the past 18 years, I’ve competed in Edmonton’s top-tier men’s league, still thriving on the court.
As a leader at Jumplete. I am committed to advancing the sport and supporting athletes’ growth. My coaching philosophy centers on skill development and fostering a love for the game. I believe that building strong fundamentals unlocks greater enjoyment and success on the court. Drawing from my own experiences of thrilling wins and hard-fought losses, I’m excited to guide these athletes toward their own unforgettable moments. Our team will work hard, grow together, and have a blast along the way!

Jill's volleyball journey began at a young age, playing on her high school team from grades 7 to 12 and competing in club volleyball from U14 to U18 as a setter with ACE, Aviators, and Lions. She earned MVP and Westwinds All-Star awards in her senior year.
Her dedication to the sport included one-on-one coaching, strength training, and off-season practice, leading to her commitment to play at Concordia University of Edmonton, where she helped set multiple program records while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She is currently continuing her studies at the University of Alberta.
Having fallen in love with volleyball during her own U14 season, Jill is eager to inspire our athletes. Her coaching philosophy focuses on skill development, team bonding, building confidence, and fostering a love for competition—all while ensuring a fun experience.

Assistant Coach: Jade Hujber
With eight years of playing experience, Jade has grown up in the world of volleyball. Playing through school and with clubs like Nooks and FOG. Coming from a volleyball-loving family, she’s spent years on the court with her parents and brothers, including in a coed adult league.
Primarily a libero (with the occasional outside hitter cameo), Jade has developed strong technical skills, especially in defence and serve receive. She’s attended countless technical camps over the years and is confident in her ability to break down the game and help players grow.

After stepping in as an assistant coach last season, she quickly found a love for coaching and is excited to be part of the full journey this year with VIBE. Jade brings energy, knowledge, and a player-first mindset to the team.
